The Snarling is a hilarious new horror comedy from director Pablo Raybould. When a new zombie film is being made in their village, locals Les, Mike and Bob see their chance to cash in and get famous. But it soon turns out the film is cursed… as the mutilated bodies begin to pile up. The local Detective Inspector and his hapless sergeant Haskins soon trace the killings back to the film set, and the race is on to stop the bloodshed before our local heroes get caught up in the real gore and guts. The Snarling also features a hilarious appearance from Julia Deakin, star of Spaced, I’m Alan Partridge and Edgar Wright’s ‘Cornetto Trilogy’.

Joel Beckett is perhaps best known for playing Lee alongside Ricky Gervais in BBC’s classic comedy series The Office, and has since appeared in brutal hooligan flick Green Street with Elijah Wood and as Jake Moon in EastEnders.

Laurence Saunders was a series regular on ITV’sDoctors between 2004 and 2011, even being nominated as Villain of the Year at the British Soap Awards for his portrayal of the wicked Trevor Waterhouse. He has also starred in EastEnders, Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights and Doctor Who.

Chris Simmons will be known to fans of ITV’s The Bill for his portrayal of DC Mickey Webb between 1998 and 2010. His credits also include Holby City and Casualty.

Pablo Raybould and Ben Manning are two filmmakers with a big love for the horror genre, and they’ve packed The Snarling full of fun and clever references to all your favourite horror classics. This is a unique opportunity to hear them talk about their passion project, and with Halloween just around the corner, you’d be mad to miss it.

The Snarling is released on DVD and VOD on 5 November from Left Films
